This is a book
that will stay with you long after you finish reading it. The Seven Sisters is
the first in a series of seven books about six girls adopted at birth and taken
to Geneva by a
wealthy man they called Pa Salt. On his death, they each receive clues to their
true identity. This, the first book, follows Maia's journey, and what a journey
it is. From Switzerland , Brazil and Paris ,
Lucinda Riley takes you on a vivid historical journey. I can hardly wait until
the next book in the series, The Storm Sister is published. I have loved every
single one of Lucinda's novels. She is a master storyteller who never ever
fails to delivery a fabulous read. I absolutely loved it, and highly recommend
it.

New novel published - The Blue Bay Cafe
Hello
Gosh, it's been a long time since I blogged. Why? Because I have been busy writing my new Cornish novel The Blue Bay Café. And here it is, the finished copies in front of the original oil painting Robert W Floyd kindly painted for me to use as the cover.
I have three locations I like to work from.
Poldhu Beach Café Cornwall (shown below)
Kynance Cove Café Cornwall is the other (see below)
And when bad weather prevails and I am forced indoors. I work from home on the banks of the Helford River, Cornwall, until I produce this.
Although
my new novel ‘The Blue Bay Café’ is predominately set in Cornwall , I always send my characters on
little trips to other quite wonderful places.
This
time we visit Wharfedale in North Yorkshire, Dinan in Brittany ,
and Lake Bled
in the former Yugoslavia .
Inevitability the stories I write will
always weave their way back to my beloved Cornwall .
So of course the beautiful River Helford village
of Gweek and the wild romantic rugged
coastal village
of Zennor play major
parts in my novel. Here is a little
montage of photos of all the beautiful places you will visit if you read my new
book.
Gweek, on the River Helford, Cornwall.
A beautiful river village.
Zennor, West Cornwall.
A truly breath-taking coastal village.
Lake Bled, Croatia
Whafedale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales
Dinan, Brittany France
Poldhu Cove, where dreams are made while
coffee is consumed
The Blue
Bay Café
A compelling story of love, loss and secret pasts.
Faye Larson has everything a woman could dream of. Swept off her feet by the powerful and
handsome Liam Knight, she is projected into a jet set world, as the ‘face’ of a
top cosmetic company, but why does she feel so dangerously adrift?
In Zennor, West Cornwall ,
the celebrated Cornish artist Nathanial Prior mourns the death of his beloved
wife Elizabeth, and a heartbreaking estrangement from his son.
With her world in tatters, she flees to the safely of a
remote Cornish village. There, under blue skies and the warmth of the Cornish
sun, two lonely people begin to find hope again. But not everyone is thrilled
with her arrival, and soon Faye is painfully aware that her happiness is
threatened, and that the past can come back to ruin her life.
I now have two Cornish based novels published. Both are available from most Amazon platforms and to download to your Kindle.
